Our History

Founded in the 1950s as Evangel Tabernacle
Affiliated with the PAOC by 1973
Church building completed in 1989
Building mortgage paid off by 1995
Our Mission Statement was written in 2003
Renamed to "Evangel Family Church" in 2017
Today we are a vibrant, multigenerational congregation serving Matheson-Black River and area
